City of Marion Learning Festival 2007
On Saturday 2 August 2007 we did a demonstration in the centre stage area of Westfield Marion.\nJenny narrated while club members performed a demonstration, followed by a come'n'try session for the public.
Pirates and pizza night 2007
We all came dressed as pirates (rule for the night was no pirate dress, no entry) and left our swords at the door to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 2. We managed to munch our way through 10 large pizzas! \nA prize was given for the best dress pirate - Jarro won this and his prize included gold chocolate coins, a small treasure chest of lollies and a Wallis movie ticket to the movie of his choice.
Free sabre course Term 2 2006
The Club conducted free sabre courses during Terms 2, 3 and 4 in 2006 with the assistance of a grant of $2,000 from the City of Marion to purchase electric sabre equipment.\nThese photos are of the Term 2 participants and the presentation of Course Completion Certificates.
